National Teacher Database by NTS
A sms on mobile networks have been published rapidly this week to apply for the NTD (National Teacher Database) and all in service teachers are also worried about their service, some of them saying that we(in service teachers) had to pass the said NTS test but there is no news that Government of Punjab would have taken any decision to recruit new teachers or taking any such as test to in service teachers through NTD. At NTS NTD page, there is a list of institutions and organizations which has affiliation with this program. Punjab Education Department's name is not included in this list. So there is no need to apply for NTD to get job in Punjab Education Department as Educator or Lecturer or Subject Specialist at this time. This test is organized four monthly and can be taken thereafter if necessary. Present NTD test is being held on 11 September 2011. Last date to apply is extended from 15 August to 22 August.
